The databases listed below are recommended for searching materials in veterinary technology. If you cannot find a particular article using any of the databases, we can assist you with your search.

Remember, when searching for articles in a database, be sure to always click the Full Text checkbox. This ensures that all articles in the search results contain the full text of the article and not just a preview or summary. If your assignment requires you to use scholarly/academic or peer-reviewed sources, click the Peer Reviewed checkbox also.

Provides access to more than 12 million journal articles, books, images, and primary sources in 75 disciplines.
ProQuest
Search all licensed ProQuest databases at once. Contains a mix of news, nursing and multidisciplinary databases.
PubMed
Comprises more than 37 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. Citations may include links to full text content from PubMed Central and publisher web sites.
ScienceDirect
Provides access to full-text scientific, technical, and health literature, including journals, books, and other publications. Covers a wide range of disciplines, including life sciences, health sciences, physical sciences and engineering, social sciences, humanities, and business. Offers 2,900 peer-reviewed journals, including 800 open access journals, and 46,000 books from more than 50 imprints
