This guide is to assist users with legal research. Librarians will assist users on how to do research and find legal resources. Library staff are unable to do legal research for the users, cannot answer questions about the law, and cannot provide legal advice. Librarians are not licensed to practice law, and librarians do not have "attorney-client" privileges.
The section below provides general information on where to locate legal assistance and legal self help guides in San Juan County and in the state of New Mexico. If you need assistance, please contact any of the SJC Librarians.
